Would you consider your character to be heroic? Why or why not?:

"How can we go on a quest to regenerate the world if we can't even save the people standing right in front of us?!" -lloyd irving, 2003

ABSOLUTELY 100% HERO MATERIAL.

Lloyd Irving is, essentially, a soft-hearted idealist who just wants the best thing for everyone. He stubbornly insists on finding ways for everything to work out and despises the idea of the need for sacrifices to be made. He's the type of guy who will reject easy solutions if it means giving up on someone. He's a bit hot blooded, sure, and can get carried away in not understanding how someone could choose an "easy way out" that harms others-- but usually once a companion calls him out, he'll listen and understand their opponent's motivations.

While Lloyd may be an absolute idiot, which tanks his 'hero' standings a little, he's really just a good dude who never gives up. Not on his friends, not on the world, not on summon spirits or his absentee father-- no one. Even by the end of the game, he's offering for the main villain to join them, to work with them to, you know, save the world.

Honestly it's kind of obnoxious how much of a hero he is. He can be sassy or sarcastic to his friends, or have a bit of a temper, but when push comes to shove he's an absolutely ridiculous optimist and idealist who won't accept anything less than everything working out the best way possible, and takes into account and tries to learn from all his failures and missteps to do better next time, the entire way.

Powers/Abilities: Some basic info on Exspheres. The tl;dr is that he's a basic bitch human who fights real good with two swords. He has a gem in his hand that unlocks his potential and amplifies his physical abilities, so he's extra good at fighting.

It's worth noting that the gem (Exsphere) is actually an experimental version of a High Exsphere (Cruxis Crystal), which have a TON more abilities, but Lloyd doesn't unlock any of those in game. (It includes wild things, like completely controlling the body's metabolic processes to become unaging, having wings, etc. Lloyd, however, does not do those things.) He just a fighty boy, tbh.

Inventory: His clothes, his twin swords, his Exsphere (since it's... embedded in his hand.) Oftentimes in game it's implied he has some basic hand tools, since he uses them to bust open locks, or carve charms or ores, so I assume he has some small crafting materials on his person. Since I'll be bringing him from the Zelos ending just to harm Shikki, he'll also have Zelos's Cruxis Crystal, given to him during that character-specific scene. The last thing he'll bring is NOISHE!

Noishe is Lloyd's "dog." It's actually a unique life form, about the size of a small horse, and as old as their world itself. But he's also just a big dumb dog that Lloyd rides around. He's 1000% useless other than giving people rides and being cute.

What with his whole "constantly evolving creature" thing, it's probably not a good idea to bring him out into the incense (what with its TRANSFORMATIONAL PROPERTIES) so he'll just be a cute house doggo. Or maybe have a different dumb temporary transformation any time he goes out. Idk we'll see.

Coterie: Jaguars!! Lloyd is not only a fighty boy, but also a CRAFTY one! He was raised by a dwarf and has spent a good amount of time making and building things. He carves several charms and pieces of jewelry over the course of the game, and he enjoys most anything he can do with his hands. (including... lockpicking..... you know. like ya do.) Sure, the fighting is great, but so is the opportunity to hone his crafting skills more in a productive way, such as helping repair the windmills and their sails, or helping fit mounts with individual bridles and saddles.

Samples: My test drive threads

And this one is good too but I may be partial to gems such as "now there's two assholes fighting a monster in the middle of the wiener section"
